Yes, It is worth it. Employees must stay safe and healthy if services are to continue in the workplace. it is the responsibility of the employer to ensure the health and safety of employees at the workplace. If organizations don't spend money on this it is not a very good organization to work for. These are the ethics of an organization. This is shown by the Factories Ordinance.  In addition, an employee, have a fundamental right to a safe and healthy workplace.

there are,

•    Early knowledge of Accidents caused by machinery

•    Get out of there in an accident.

•    Obtaining Training

•    Obtaining Medical Treatment

 

Basically, the employer must ensure that the workplace is safe. That is, Employees must be trained and provided with protective clothing to prevent accidents caused by machinery or something else.

Ex:-

•    Eye protection glasses

•    breathing apparatus

•    exhaust appliances

 

In addition to that, they Should maintain the cleanliness of the workplace, brightness, Hygiene facilities and checked the machinery before the workplace starts up. As well as, Facilitating medical treatment in case of emergency, Emergency exits door and fire safety equipment should be provided. All these activities must be carried out under SLS, ISO standards.

Due to the existing coronavirus, employees are working from home. so nowadays, health and safety are familiar to all people. In this case, the employer must provide the employees with the facilities necessary to work online and When the employee comes into the office, the administrator should provide a face mask and hand wash for prevention of Getting sick. An alternative to this is to allow the employee to come to the office only the essentials and facilitate working online to complete daily activities from home. it is a positive thing. even If the employer-provided these all facilities, the employees have a responsibility to protect themselves. For that,

 

•    Follow safety tips to protect yourself from accidents and illnesses. 

•    Personal protective clothing and equipment must be used properly. 

•    Discuss with the employer about accident conditions and illnesses.

•    Get a rest break and drink water during the working day.


All of these provide better health and safety for employees. The organization should allow employees to have leisure time activities, sports activities, mindfulness activities and contact with friends. it improves the employee's health. Through health and safety, As much as the employee is safe, they can be given Quality services in the organization. so, I think, wherever employees work for the organization, it is not useless to reserve a budget for the safety and health of everyone.
